re.ju.vie.me ~ Small Shifts | Big Difference: Momentum that Moves Beyond January (for Wellness & Longevity)
January is now a memory, and the perfect time to pause and reassess your wellness goals for 2026. ✨
For those of you who are still on track…keep it up, and keep reading if you’d like inspiration you can refer to if your wellness journey gets rocky this year.
For those of you who have fallen off track…keep reading. Period.
You can still turn things around!
As we move further into 2026, I want to offer a wellness perspective that feels supportive, not stressful, when focusing on wellness and longevity.
So many of us enter January with motivation and big intentions, only to feel pressure when things don’t look perfect by the 31st. Here’s the truth: Success isn’t about doing everything flawlessly from the beginning, it’s about learning what actually works and adjusting early.
The end of January is ideal timing for a wellness reassess because by now you have real information, i.e. facts!
Your lived experience is now thirty days of personal data that you can use to (reasonably) ask yourself:
What do I wish I’d started?
What felt good and sustainable?
What was forced or unrealistic?
What was supportive of my goals?
What added stress or pressure?
This is where wellness gets personal. ✨
Your 30-Day End-of-January Wellness Reflection
Take a moment to answer three simple questions:
1. What’s Working?
What have you been doing, ideally with some consistently? Celebrate that! Even if it wasn’t perfect.
And if you haven’t gotten started…
You can still celebrate yourself for recognizing there are ways to live better that will ultimately be better for you and your longevity. Reading this far counts!!
2. What’s Not Working?
It’s easy to find yourself trying to improve your life with something that doesn’t fit into your lifestyle. You may have fallen into one of these traps:
An overly strict routine
Too many new habits at once
A plan that left you exhausted
Goals based on pressure instead of support
(Or anything else along these lines)
IMPORTANT NOTE: This isn’t failure, it’s feedback!
3. What small changes can you make to feel better and stay consistent?
BRIEF PAUSE: Before answering this question consider your unique qualities and current commitments, as well as the support you have, or might need, to maintain any wellness goals for the long term.
Small changes don’t have to mean restarting, but rather refining. Sustainable wellness for your health and longevity is always adjustable!
Small Changes = Simple Shifts for Wellness & Longevity
✨ Simplify Your Wellness Goals
If you’re overwhelmed, choose just one goal to focus on right now to rebuild momentum.
✨ Focus on How You Feel Before Worrying About What You Want
Consider what brings you more energy, better sleep, greater endurance, and more support right now, to strengthen your foundation before committing to more. Those are the real markers of health.
✨ Build Habits That Fit Your Real Life
The best wellness plan for health and longevity is the one you can continue throughout the year… not just at the beginning.
It’s OK to start small with simple shifts like:
10-minute movements
A healthier snack
Earlier bedtime
One calming daily ritual
Connecting with a friend
✨ Adjust Your Mindset
You don’t need perfection to be successful, but you do need the right perspective. A positive mindset leads to greater progress. Remember, even small steps are just the beginning of what will ultimately make a big difference on your overall health. Stay positive and stay the course.
✨ Strengthen Your Support
Going into February, consider what will help you feel more supported at this point, and incorporate that into your wellness plan. Support comes in the form of community, tools, resources, and foundational adjustments. Health is built on more than grit.

Here's Your Final Reminder for the Year Ahead
As January ends, take pride in what you’ve started, even if it looks different than you imagined. (Again, reading this counts…if you’ll use it to take action!)
Wellness is not about having things all figured out by Day 31; it’s about continuing to learn what helps you feel strong, healthy, and whole.
This year doesn’t have to be about perfection. It can be about building habits and finding the right support to make long-term wellness easier to maintain all year long. ✨
