Professional Bio

Sherry Mukasa Matemachani is a professional presenter, emcee, and ambassador for wellness!

Her career spans over 15 years, with more than 10 years of experience as a women’s health project consultant, event producer, and creator of two health and wellness brands that were nationally trademarked in the United States, one of which she later sold to a private company.

Sherry re-launched her business to focus on her expertise in strategic engagement, content creation, and qualitative insights. Sherry can help healthcare companies and organizations (health systems, clinics, providers, payors, NGOs, and CBOs) advance their women’s health initiatives, as well as apply a wholistic (whole-person) approach to staff development, by inspiring engagement, fostering clinic/community collaborations, moderating focus groups, conducting interviews, developing survey plans, and facilitating meetings, trainings, and retreats.

Professional presentation, facilitation, and MC’ing are Sherry's other (not-so-hidden) talents. She is known for her exceptional presentation style and ability to convey information with IMPACT, keeping audiences engaged and inspired. Goal-minded women and rising professionals have a special place in Sherry’s heart because of her personal journey to better balance and working through setbacks to reach personal and professional goals.  As a health and wellness professional, she also realizes the importance of self-care and using resilience to achieve and sustain success. Sherry speaks to this in her talks, and is energetic, engaging, and skilled at making meaningful audience connections that inspire change.

Hersonify® is an inspiration platform rooted in personal development and wellness for goal-minded women, which Sherry created in 2020 and re-launched in 2025. It serves as a resource to help create clarity, build resilience, and achieve aspirations, while ensuring self-care and wellbeing remain at the forefront. Sherry has created tools and self-guided resources for women, which center around physical health, emotional wellbeing, personal/professional growth, and meaningful balance.

Sherry received her undergraduate degree in health promotion, and is a nationally Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP). She also studied Strategic Communication through a year-long graduate certificate program at Purdue University, and is a trained Resilience-to-Thriving facilitator. Sherry continues to sharpen her skills through industry and leadership trainings as a proud life-long learner (and Pilates enthusiast!).
